The Library Loft at Gazebo Inn

A peaceful hideaway filled with charm, history, and handcrafted details.

Perched atop our restored 1847 barn, the Library is a soaring, cathedral-style loft designed to be a quiet and inspiring space for reading, relaxing, or simply soaking in the atmosphere.

As part of our extensive renovation, this floor adds an extraordinary amount of common space — a rare feature for a 14-room inn. Here’s what you’ll find:

Craftsmanship with a Story

  • Hand-selected original barn beams featured on the ceiling

  • Natural hayloft floorboards repurposed as wall paneling

  • Custom tables and furnishings made from reclaimed barn wood

  • Desk and chairs for writing, working, or small meetings

Comfortable, Quiet & Inviting

  • A large plush sectional — perfect for stretching out, visiting with friends, or playing games

  • Reclining leather chairs — ideal for reading with a cup of coffee or evening cocktail

  • A curated book selection and games available to borrow

  • A glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance — especially stunning in winter

Open Daily: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Guests are welcome to use the space freely during these hours. It’s a hidden gem tucked away on the top floor — quiet, cozy, and full of character.

Designed with Heart

A question we often hear: "Who was your designer?"
Every inch of the inn — including this space — was imagined and brought to life by Scott, Bruce, and Peter. No outside decorators. Just our vision and a deep love of craftsmanship.

 Note

Please note that the Library Loft is not elevator accessible due to the historic structure and roofline.

  • The elevator begins at the basement level, where you’ll find laundry, ice, and ironing facilities.

  • The first floor includes the Great Room, front desk, gym, and massage room.

  • The third floor houses Barn Suites 1–4.
